Hassan Lari Group Completes Phase 1 of Hamala Villas – A Distinct Architectural Landmark in Hamala

Hassan Lari Group has announced the completion of Phase 1 of the Hamala Villas project, comprising the first four villas in a boutique residential development located in the green and easily accessible area of Hamala.

More than just homes, the Phase 1 villas are conceived as a distinct architectural statement. Each villa, with approximately 395 sqm of built-up area, is organized around the signature “infinity circle” concept, giving the development a clear visual identity and transforming it into a recognizable architectural icon within the neighborhood.

The project was designed in close collaboration between HLG’s in-house team, led by Ali Lari, and architect Rafiq Azam of Shatotto. This partnership has resulted in a composition that marries contemporary forms with regional sensitivity — a balance of bold geometry, soft landscaping, and carefully framed views.

A defining element of Hamala Villas is the shallow water feature, which anchors the composition and enhances the sensory experience of the homes. The architecture is deliberately choreographed to integrate indoor and outdoor spaces, greenery, and water into a single, fluid sequence: living areas open onto the gardens, views extend across the planted courtyard to the reflective water surface, and natural light and landscape are integrated with the interior. This layered relationship between inside and outside reinforces the feeling of calm, retreat-like living.

Inside, the villas feature high-end finishes and a meticulously detailed interior design. Generous living spaces, refined material selections, and custom joinery are paired with discreetly integrated services to create a sense of quiet luxury. Particular attention has been paid to execution quality on site — from precise alignments and proportions to lighting, fixtures, and landscape detailing — ensuring an immaculate overall finish. The result is a development that feels both exclusive and livable — a calm residential enclave with a strong, cohesive design language.

Phase 1 marks a key milestone in the broader Hamala Villas project, which will ultimately include an additional eight villas in Phase 2.
